I do a lot of commissions for babies and children because it is a timeless gift that will become a family
heirloom and it's always special to have the child's name and personal details on the china. Here are some samples of the

A traditional bowl with the design
of your choice around the shoulder. Personal details can be included for a special occasion gift, presented in a
white glossy box. The bowls can be matched with eggcups, side plates and cups to gradually build up a unique
collection of tableware.

Highly detailed and finely
painted, eggcups and saucers have become one the most popular birthday and Christening gifts I make.
Children love to see their name on a train or a ship, or next to a Twinkle Toes sparkling fairy. These
are traditional pieces that create unusual gifts.

Handpainted onto 11" dinner plates, these designs are usually created for a special
occasion and are presented in a strong, white glossy presentation box. You can choose each 'patch' and the
colour scheme. Patchwork plates are a great way of combining lots of different pictures or symbols to present
a cohesive and fun design.

These are highly personalised ceramic tiles measuring 10" x 8". Other sizes available on request.
The whole bookcase is painted to reflect the names, hobbies, jobs etc of the baby's family. You can
choose your own relevant book titles, dress the teddy in appropriate head gear, have the birth date circled on the calendar.. the whole concept is yours.
On this tile the family were Scottish, hence the bagpipes, dad was in the army so there is a small toy soldier, and mum
is a chef so the teddy has the chef's hat and wooden spoon.
